Mont Royal
Mont Royal translates to Mount Royal in English; this is the mountain that is situated on the island of Montreal. It is part of the Monteregian Hills; this comprises three peaks, the Mont Royal Proper, the Mount Murray and the Westmount. This is where the Mount Royal Park is located; the park is of a hundred one hectare of a park that on Mount Royal. This is mostly where the locals of Montreal go to whenever they want to unwind and would want to jog, to walk or just would want to picnic or just simply just want to set their eyes on the view of the horizon.
The mountain is also home to the other parks and cemeteries. This is also a protected cultural and natural region in Quebec; its organization Mount Royal Natural and Historical District is located here. You can also find here the Jeanne Mance Park, which has courts, such as for tennis, football, and baseball. There is also a pool for children. This also has the transmission tower of the CBC, it has two buildings, these transmission towers are for television and radio broadcasts. The two cemeteries such as the Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery and the Mount Royal Cemetery is where you can find it here. Just outside the Mount Royal Park, you can find some of the Montreal’s landmarks, the St. Joseph’s Oratory, McGill University and the two hospitals, Royal Victoria Hospital and the Montreal General Hospital and others.
You can go to this park anytime; you can take the Cartier monument trail on the side of the Park Avenue or you can take the bus number 80 or number 129, or you can go to the metro station and take the bus 11. You can also drive your way up the hill; there are also parked areas where you can park your vehicle.
